Ingredients
- For the burger:
500g beef mince (5% fat)
3 garlic cloves, finely grated
8g ginger, finely grated
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp red miso paste
1 egg
Ground rock salt & black pepper (to taste)
- For the salad:
1 cos lettuce, washed & shredded
1 red onion, thinly sliced
Handful of coriander, chopped
100g cherry tomatoes, chopped
- For the dressing:
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Ground rock salt & black pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Prepare the burgers: In a bowl, mix all burger ingredients until well combined. Shape into 4 small patties and set aside.
- Cook the burgers: Heat an ovenproof pan over medium heat with some rapeseed oil. Sear the patties on both sides until golden brown. Transfer to a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) and roast for 20 minutes.
- Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Prepare the salad: Toss lettuce, coriander, red onion, and cherry tomatoes in a bowl. Drizzle with dressing and mix well.
- Assemble & serve: Divide the salad into bowls and place the cooked burgers on top. Enjoy!
